I'm Amanda and I'm happy to have you browsing my ever growing toddler web site. If you can't find the information you are looking for – ASK! I would love to hear from you.
Here is just a little about myself and why and how I started a toddler web site about potty training.
I'm a Montessori teacher busy discovering the secrets of everything from finger painting to sign language to brain development. I'm learning and uncovering so much through research, playing with my little sweetie and from talking to parents.
Being a stay at home mom gives me an opportunity to work from home and share my passion through my toddler web site. And make enough money on line to allow me to watch both my little ones grow and reach their milestones.
Potty training is a milestone in your child's life, but as you begin the process, you are likely to come across a LOT of advice. There is so much information out there! Actually ... it might be better if I say ... there is so much conflicting information out there! ... Parenting magazines, websites, and books offer everything from helpful tips to proven methods and 10 step programs that are guaranteed to have your little one out of diapers with no effort at all.
You may be finding it downright confusing and frustrating; I know I did. I think that potty training is an area that has become contrived and could use a new approach.
I hope you will let me help as you try to figure your way through the no more diapers frenzy! So that you can save time and money and you won't have to kick your self for trying a method that sets you back weeks, or months, because it was not the right method for you or your child.
I am not a potty expert or guru. I am simply a mom who is passionate about my Lulu and parenting. I have done a lot of research on the topic of potty training. In fact I experienced and researched EVERYTHING about potty training and then organized and simplified all the information.
Now I would really like share my knowledge with you.
But, I can't provide a completely holistic picture – no one can, because every parent, child, circumstance, and family dynamic is different.
So, I have several equally fabulous and savvy moms – and dads – helping to fill in the gaps. Sometimes, the greatest resource we have is each other. And, I hope that you will also share your experiences and success stories – what worked for you and what didn't – because what you have to say can help another parent who is in a similar situation. Nothing is more valuable than the advice and support of someone who has been where you are and understands what you are going through.
If you have a question, please contact me. I review and answer every question before publishing - I can also send you a private answer.
Do you have a question about potty training? Just ask! I'll be happy to share my research and knowledge with you. You might receive some constructive comments from other parental units too :)
Make sure to include the age and gender of your little darling, some details about your potty training history or any previous potty training attempts.
